Eagles : l'un des groupes les plus populaires et les plus couronnés de succès de tous les temps. Nés à Los Angeles en 1971, ses membres fondateurs étaient Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Bernie Leadon et Randy Meisner. Ils ont vu défiler différents membres, dont Frey, décédé en 2016. Leur premier album éponyme, Eagles (1972), a vu trois singles entrer dans le Top 40 : "Take It Easy", "Witchy Woman" et "Peaceful Easy Feeling", atteignant des sommets respectifs de 12, 9 et 22. À ce stade, cependant, les Eagles ne font que commencer. Leur deuxième album, Desperado (1973), contient deux de leurs chansons les plus populaires de tous les temps : "Tequila Sunrise" et la chanson titre "Desperado". Il a débuté à la première place et est devenu leur troisième album studio à être certifié sept fois platine. En 2010, lorsqu'on leur a demandé si les Eagles prévoyaient de sortir un autre album, ils ont répondu ceci : Ma première réaction serait : pas question. Mais j'ai dit ça avant le dernier, donc on ne sait jamais vraiment. Les groupes sont une entité fragile et on ne sait jamais ce qui va se passer. Il a fallu beaucoup de temps pour faire ce dernier album, sur plusieurs années, vraiment, et ça nous a demandé beaucoup. Nous avons pris une année sabbatique à un moment donné. Je ne suis pas sûr que nous soyons capables de le refaire. Je ne fermerais pas la porte à ça, mais je ne sais pas." Ils n'ont jamais sorti d'autre album et le décès de Frey en 2016 l'a réaffirmé. Ils se produisent cependant toujours en concert et la formation est désormais composée de Henley, Joe Walsh et Timothy Schmit.
